Our Eyes Dream Acid Tears

One land, one people, all asleep
one dream in every mind
all see words of scripture, captive
in a vise of hatred, crushed
distorted words of God, acid
tears, with screaming lips, the captor
feels the kiss of Satan
on his heart.

Hi Vian,
The new paintings are beautiful.
You've progressed to a more abstract state of art, less figurative than your previous paintings. Have you ever seen the work of Peruvian artist Pablo Amaringo? He is a Peruvian Shaman who paints the mythic images
he obtains from drinking ayahuasca
or yage, a hallucinogenic tonic.
His work is transcendent and explores the mythopogiac as yours does.

Alrighty, take care.

my straight to ya art critique:

your joining of the islamic pattern and the ghost vapors of the past are very interesting and environmental. taken by themselves and not as a set the pieces go around a theme that I feel the most in the transformations piece.
Its like youre looking for that piece one move forward (arent we all).
I'm adverse to seeing a whole set together from anyone anyway so that wasnt all important, I just like to stay in one palate?
I really hope that you get into adobe and layer your stuff so I can walk through it too.

when i look at your horizons and architecture i want to have a huge piece like twenty feet wide and twelve feet high. so you could feel the heat.

you live on the other side of the earth and do art i can see.
that's really sweet. dont stop. ;)!

Greetings, this is David from the Ron Paul 2008 Baghdad meetup.com group. Please check out what's happening in the U.S. and across the world with the Ron Paul USA presidential campaign. Ron Paul is the true voice of freedom right now in the U.S. He's for limited government, abolishing the IRS and Federal Reserve, and getting out of Iraq now. Go to www.ronpaul2008.com to learn more and be sure to check out his videos at his youtube channel. If you're interested in his message of freedom, please consider joining the Baghdad meetup group, it's free and we need all the help we can get to combat the main stream medias attempts to marginalize him. -David

Your artwork is stunning. Do you follow an established mode, or is it one of your own devising? Either way, I like it! Keep up the good work.

Whatever is happening in your life is certainly blessing your art. I liked the first batch of things I saw in 2006 - but this latest batch is amazingly beautiful... each is perfectly named. Each piece conveys such a sense of longing in one's soul for a place that exists in time out of mind - the way the flutes in Celtic music are achingly beautiful.
